Humanities: The United Nations General Assembly was a total success. We made it official with the fabulous football field length of international flags the Penikis family donated. Thank you! Our delegates presented their information from their country desks and debated over which country needs to step up with the issue of climate change. I was very proud of them today. There's even a photo on Instagram and Facebook I call "Kids with Ties"...pretty darn cute.
Science: Mrs. M met with individual students about their didactic labels for their cells. Each student was responsible for receiving and giving a peer edit. This is a skill that will be perfected as we get closer to June. Our Cell Museum is 11/2 from 9:30 to 10:30. We are looking forward to sharing your student's hard work!
Math: Mrs. S did individualized instruction with students while our other Gryphons worked independently on assignments. Try out those proportion skills by eating at Mod Pizza tonight! They are giving a portion of their proceeds from tonight's sales to Odyssey.
*Picture Retakes are Friday*
*Sock drive is done on Friday*
Thank you for sending in art/recycling supplies for our cell models (and all the future art-oriented projects coming our way). It is so great to have them at the ready when your children are preparing to create!
