Day 1 Debrief

Hello parents and students,

It was SO NICE to see all of our students today and we were impressed with how kind and patient they are! We did have several emails over the course of the day which we will try to address here all at once. If your specific concern is not addressed, please reach back out to us if you did not get a response.

First off, Mr. More had some technical difficulties with requiring a password to enter into his Zoom meetings. This should be addressed by our next live session on Thursday.

Second, there was some confusion as to our schedule versus what is says in Skyward. Skyward puts students into periods, which we do not have at Odyssey. Please refer to this link for Thursday's Schedule which is the same as today with the exception of electives. Thursday is an "EVEN" day so students will go to their "period 6" per their schedule. The link includes the zoom links and codes for all classes including electives.

Third, there is a Gryphons Classroom where we use as a community hub for students. The Google Classroom code is v3dfy6j - under the "Classwork" tab you will see a link for which cohort your student is in which we will begin next week.

Fourth, Wednesday is an on-demand learning day in which students will be participating in a STEM challenge. Instructions and video can be found on the Gryphons Classroom tomorrow morning.

Fifth, students do have one homework assignment to complete their "ACRONAME" slide by next Tuesday. Instructions can be found here, this should take students no longer than 10-15 minutes to complete.

Finally, for any other scheduling or Skyward questions, please contact terri.passadore@camas.wednet.edu or penny.harlan@camas.wednet.edu

Thank you for an exciting and memorable day, we are blessed to be your students' teachers!
