You know one thing we love about Odyssey? We have the flexibility to make our schedule fit whatever needs we have. Today we needed to complete a Healthy Youth Survey for the state of Washington, so we did that, then we did two core sessions before lunch and two more afterwards! And since it was a lovely day, and since we have just completed our Design Thinking project, and since almost everyone had their all their work in, we decided to do a little game time outside before electives! Ask your kid if they were able to play "1 and 20" today. We played 3 rounds and it was super fun.

Science class was in the collaboratory. Groups of students made their own slide of donated cheek cells. (Ask your student who donated the cells and how they collected.) Then we used the microscopes to take a closer look. It was fascinating to actually see cells right there on our slides! Research of individual cells in the body will begin tomorrow. No Science Homework tonight.

Math has a quiz tomorrow! You can prepare by doing 5-3 for homework tonight

Humanities introduced the United Nations to our students today. Students will take on the role of delegates for certain countries and participate in a model UN Conference to discuss Global Warming/Climate Change and what "their" countries are doing/planning regarding it. Research notes (found in Google Classroom) are due on Friday.
