Tomorrow is the first day of Shark Tank presentations and the kids are feeling the push. We can tell they care about this because their stress levels are starting to show. A little bit of healthy stress can really motivate us to do well and keep us alert. If you are finding your child stressed out, we encourage you to have them do some deep breaths, recognize what is in their control (like practicing their part), and acknowledge how much they have accomplished in such a short time frame (8 school days). Student groups will get one more period tomorrow to do final rehearsals to lessen nerves for tomorrow afternoon's pitches. Students have access to the schedule on Gryphons Google Classroom!

We pieced together parts of the brain today in science. It was fun learning from our peers about the different lobes and sections. We made some realizations that many parts work together to help us learn. I'll be posting some pictures on social media tonight. For HOMEWORK students need to take an online quiz about brain myths and facts and then post something in Google Science Classroom about something they were surprised to learn from it.

During Language Arts, students continued working on their narratives. We spent a little bit of time reviewing capitalization and convention rules. Rough drafts of 800 to 1200 words are due Friday.
