Using all the Brains

Thanks to those of you who've already signed and returned the student release forms for my National Board work. If your student hasn't given it to you yet, please feel free to send me a request for another. I'd like to have them all back by Monday.

Our Design Thinking project continues. Today students learned some ideation protocols to imagine everything they would need for their idea proposal. They also reviewed the data they gathered during research and interviews to determine which idea was desirable by the clients (users) and where they might need to pivot to better meet the needs of those clients.

In Language Arts we continued working on our narrative by developing a plot for the photos we are using to inspire us. This work should be completed for tomorrow. And in Science we began looking at specific parts of the brain and how they contribute to our learning. Students need to do some research and plan how to teach their peers about this over the weekend so that on Monday groups can get their "lesson" together.
