What a terrific day we had at OMSI today! Despite the traffic delay, we were all able to get in to see the Discovering Tut exhibit. Each group of students tried to locate artifacts that demonstrate what Ancient Egyptians valued, ate, entertained themselves, believed, etc. The exhibit itself also provided an excellent launch into our Ancient Civilizations Project. Groups of student will need to create an exhibit of their own that displays what life was like during "their" ancient times. Be sure to check out our Facebook and Instagram accounts for lots of pictures and videos. And SUPER EXTRA SPECIAL THANKS to the 17 parent chaperones who were able to come with us today. You are amazing!
