Science: There was some creative play-doh sculpting going on with review of layers of the earth. No homework tonight.
Math: We reviewed multiplying decimals and some reviewed dividing decimals. Some of your students are practicing "shopping" and have a project that needs to be done by Friday. Resources for this project can be found on Google Classroom. If your student does not have their multiplication facts memorized, now would be a GREAT time to practice. Fifteen minutes a night should do it. :) Students have homework and should have written in their planners (majority have paper to work on).
Humanities: We reviewed how to find "kid friendly" websites for research. We clarified our four topics for our big civilization project: resources, daily life, architecture and culture. Everyone has been assigned their civilization and recorded information in all of these categories using the websites found.
**We really appreciate it when you alert us to any extended absences for your child (family trips, etc), so we can prepare your Gryphon with work ahead of time. Thank you!**
