Science: Everyone watched the public service announcements about earthquake preparedness. They were great! Students voted on the "student choice" winners- Nathaniel M.

Wren, Sabeen & Camdyn

Brooklyn L., Amy & Grace B.

Congrats!

Math: Math groups worked diligently on finishing quizzes today. No homework tonight. Yay!

Humanities: Everyone had class time to work on their ancient civilization narratives. A lot of kiddos got at least one page complete on the draft. We talked about how to "set the stage" for your reader so they he/she cares about the main character and roots for them. This makes for a great story! I also asked them to make sure I know the answer to these two questions within the first two paragraphs: Who are you as a person? Where do you live?

*If you have any old aprons you are willing to part with, our Gryphons could use them for painting projects! Thank you!*
