Well we launched our next project! LITERALLY! We are going to be learning all about life on mars <insert all the Bowie songs about space> and launched into space.

Each day students will have daily missions to help us reach Mars. They'll work in their groups to try and build fully functional colonies on the red planet for the next couple months. We are SO excited!!

Today, students had 3 possible missions to earn funding: develop a colony name, make an insignia, and build a rocket launcher to break Earth's atmosphere (which in our case was the ceiling). It was an exciting time! Tomorrow we will break out into groups for reading our novel (check your emails for a head's up!).

**ALSO: if you have any gardening soils of different types, or planter pots that you'd like to be rid of or donate, we could use those by Friday morning!!**
