Humanities: We introduced the concept of "mini speeches" today. We covered the steps of engaging an audience with captivating speaking techniques and how to choose a topic. Mostly everyone came up with a topic, but there were some students who just weren't sure. I told them to ask mom and dad because they "know you best". We will be crafting and practicing the speeches this week and delivering them on Monday. *The NEWSELA assignment due today had some missing kiddos. Please ask your child if he or she turned this in.*

Science: They've been assigned a Rube Goldberg Task and may be asking for items at home to complete it. Also, please check Google Classroom for missing work in Science Google Classroom.
