Testing Tuesday

We did such a great job yesterday that we were able to start on the next portion of SBAC testing today. We are taking a break from testing tomorrow, instead watching the movie version of The Martian. As you will recall from our letter home at the beginning of the unit, this version is edited with ClearPlay and removes language and graphic scenes. This viewing will be used with an assignment to evaluate the director's choices when compared to the novel. Should be a fun day.

This afternoon we spent some time wrapping up loose ends, catching up on missing work, creating artistic lettering for one of our learning spaces, and brushing up on our typing and coding skills. Many students chose to sink into a good book!

Please continue to check your student is plugging in the Chromebook so there is a full charge in the morning. This is crucial to a successful learning (and testing) environment. Thanks!
