Science: Our kiddos worked on how to categorize research. Tomorrow they will be exploring what cells they want to research for our Cell Museum.

Design Thinking: Today was all about deciding what their pitch will be for their presenations. They watched a part of an episode of "Shark Tank" to see what NOT to do. There was work time provided to work on prototypes and pitches.

Social Studies: The Africa test is tomorrow! There was quite a bit of study time provided in my class and in PLT today. I am not testing them on the small islands...only Madagascar (kind of a large "island"). I am allowing students to retake their lowest-scoring test on Monday. There were 13 students who took the last test early and received 100% across all four tests. Very impressive!

REMINDER: Our curriculum night is tomorrow 10/19 from 6-7. We ask that this is a "parents only" event. Thank you!
