Science: It was a cell building day. It was an impressive crafty wonderland in Home Base with cells coming to life. Very exciting! We are looking forward to seeing you on Friday in the a.m. for the Cell Museum event.

Math: All math groups were pulled from our anchor activity today. There is a test tomorrow. Ask your Gryphon what are being tested on.

Humanities: Today I gave an assignment about "finding the main idea". The article is about climate change and how it affects the storm surge and temperature of the ocean, which in turn creates storms that are more catastrophic than in the past (and also very hard to predict). This assignment is due tomorrow. Our class had PLT time today to work on it, as well as an invitation to work with me personally, so I have high hopes it will be done by tomorrow. Please check in with your Gryphon about their completion of this homework. Thank you!

Poseidon House friends: Mrs. Blair goofed on the field trip date. It's next Wednesday, Nov. 7th (not this week). Please clarify the date with your child. If you'd like to chaperone, please email Mrs. Motsinger as soon as possible. She's doing a "first come, first go" plan with parents. We are so excited to see King Tut at OMSI! I actually stood in line when i was in first grade to see it in Seattle. It's spectacular---your children are going to love it.

**Costumes: Are a-ok at Odyssey for Halloween, but of course, they need to coincide with our dress code. Masks are not allowed as all faces need to be visible. **
