Our days are so productive lately. We returned to Core rotations today. In Math, students figured out polyhedron formulas to determine surface area and volume. (There's some homework!) In Science we continued researching how to power our Martian colony using various sources and storage systems. (There may be some homework!) For ELA, we read chapter 21 and 22 of The Martian. Mark has started his journey to the Ares 4 site without having communication with NASA. It's nerve wracking, even for us, because we know things that Mark does not! (That's dramatic irony!)

Mrs. Dixon's last day with us is next Wednesday, May 8th. If you would like to send in a note to wish her well on her journey to her own classroom, we know she would appreciate it.

**Reminder, vocabulary test on May 14th.

**Colony Presentations on May 16th...specific schedule coming soon!

**$25 for a yearbook to Ms. Penny ASAP.
