One month done!

Woah, how did that happen? It has been a really great first month of school and we are so happy with your kids! We are constantly impressed with how quickly they adapt and the ideas they generate.

Today was a catch-all. In Language arts, students practiced for the Asia test which is Tuesday. Several kids opted to take it today and 4 of them scored 100%! Wow. Math time was spent finishing up iReady. Mrs. Stalheim will be back on Monday and is looking forward to getting into the meat of our math standards. For Science we explored the hierarchy of cells to organism. Ask your 6th grader to explain the process we used to create organisms today!

Finally, kudos to Poseidon House! They won the Gryphon Trophy after these last three weeks of September. "Lord Von Thunder Gryphon III" will now be sporting RED for the month of October. Congratulations Kelpies!
