(for all your Duran Duran fans ) :)
Humanities: Today we worked in country groups, researching what our country has done to help or hinder climate change. There were a lot of discussions about emissions, CO2, factories, cars on the road, solar power and population growth. So many interesting discussion points with this topic! I am really looking forward to Wednesday's United Nations assembly. Ask your child about their country and how he/she and their group are going to present themselves.
Science: We learned about the parts that can be found in all cells and the main differences between plant and animal cells. We would love and appreciate an influx of recycled and craft materials that can be turned into cell models. We'll take your paper towel and toilet paper rolls, Kleenex boxes, styrofoam, packing materials, etc. For craft stuff, we love IT ALL....beads, piper cleaners, cellophane, tissue paper, clay, fabric, cotton balls, Q-tips, etc. Thank you in advance!
Math: Small groups were pulled and they continued to work on ratios and proportions.
Curiosity Cruisin': Today we learned how to use the project log to track daily progress. Some requests for materials might be coming your way as we go further into this process.
**Be advised we are continuing to send emails to parents of kiddos who need to borrow chargers. We appreciate your support with reminding your children to bring them ready to go.**
