Humanities: The salsa rotations worked on developing a character profile for one of our main characters in A Wrinkle in Time. These profiles are a depiction of key physical traits as well as adjectives to describe the type of person they are. Students will continue these in rotation tomorrow.
Yellow and Blue rotations continued reading The City of Ember and making text connections throughout the chapter. Homework: Socratic Seminar is tomorrow! Vocab is due Friday.
For social studies, students began to research key historical, cultural and natural sites in their countries of choice.
Science:
We continue to work on creating our solar car showcase trifolds during Science. There are still a few teams without a trifold. Please check with your kid to make sure he/she has one. And don’t forget to attend our showcase on Friday from 12:30 to 1:15. See you there!
Today in math the kids finished up Lesson 1, and completed a few lessons on Khan Academy. No homework! No nothing! It’s sunny! Go outside!
Enrichment: If you have extra magazines PLEASE send them to school with your kids. We are working on vision boards and goal setting. Thanks!
