'Great to see all of our smiling Gryphon faces today. We are definitely feeling more comfortable as a 6th grade "family". Everyone is "all in" with electives and knowing where we're supposed to be when we're supposed to be there.

Math: Today Mrs. Stalheim did number triangles and patterns. Homework is to solve the pattern (and name it) in their homework.

ELA: We took iReady tests to assess for reading comprehension. We are also wrapping up a CER (Claim/Evidence/Reasoning) essay that is DUE TOMORROW. :) There are complete instructions (and an additional website about CER on the assignment in the Humanities classroom.

I graded and returned their short answer from the "France bans cell phones in schools" article. You can find it on the Humanities Classroom.

Science: Today Mrs. Motsinger worked with our little scientists on lab testing the evidence in our big murder case. Several parent volunteers came to help and we are grateful. Thank you! This week, teams of students will be working on connecting evidence with suspects on our wall chart to get closer to finding out whodunnit.

**Picture day is tomorrow! It's not too late to submit the order form to the photographer.**
