Today was Day One of our Design Thinking presentations. There was a lot of practicing for each other and a bit of last minute prototype tweaking. Our panel of "sharks" were very impressed and gave us some terrific feedback. All in all, this project has been a wonderful journey into what a solid presentation looks like/feels like. Shout out to Brooklyn M. and Colton for being excellent OMS ambassadors. They greeted our sharks, oversaw the comings and goings of groups in the meeting rooms and gave a tour. Another shout out goes to Austin E. for being our tech guru when we set up four separate TV/big screen situations. Way to go, kiddos! Thanks to Logan B.'s parents being sharks not one, but TWO days!

Science: We talked about biology word parts. Example: encephalitis (en=within) (cephal=head) (itis= inflammation). To understand it, we start with the suffix--"inflammation within the head".

Math: Workbooks were handed out today. Check in with them tonight about homework!

*Picture Retakes is 10/26---we goofed and sent not one, but TWO emails about it being tomorrow. Sorry about that.*

*Dress to impress for Shark Tank presentations tomorrow*
