Science: Mrs. Dixon talked about natural resources and started a water audit with our Gryphons. She asked everyone to go home tonight and do their own water audit at home. They were asked to chat with everyone in the family about how many minutes of water is used for specific activities. An example would be: How many minutes of a shower does each person take each day? Mrs. Dixon will work on the math with her classes tomorrow to average the gallons per day used in each household.
Math: Test corrections are homework tonight.
Humanities: The civilization narrative is officially due tomorrow morning. Please ask your kiddo if it is edited and turned in. I'd be grateful if you could assist in editing if it's not complete yet.
We began working on a "mini presentation" for our roles in their civilization groups. On Wednesday and Thursday they will be getting up in front of a small audience to present their information. They've already done the research, so it should be mostly presentation practice.
This is another plea for used aprons you're not needing anymore. Paint doesn't come out of clothes and we don't want to ruin any in our creativity quest! :)
