Some of us were totally expecting a full snow day and others of us had nary a snowflake! What crazy weather patterns we have here in Camas. We'll see what tomorrow brings. We'd love to see your snow images. Feel free to post them on our Facebook page. We squished our CORE rotations into the morning, took a later lunch and were able to provide a full session of PLT and project time in the afternoon. It was only fair since we didn't have any afternoon yesterday.

For Humani-Science, students worked on understanding how much energy is put into getting the food into our hands at lunch and how many different people are impacted along the way. HOMEWORK Some students had an online activity to answer some questions that are due tomorrow. There are still quite a few students missing yesterday's question assignment in Google Classroom. Check with your kiddo!

In our reading rotations we continued with our books, City of Ember and Wrinkle in Time respectively. As ELA teachers it truly is our joy to share literature with our students and delve deep into themes, characters and the plot of these stories. I would also offer without hesitation that the students seem to really be enjoying our novel choices. In addition to reading, students also had their vocab quizzes...and for those rotations we see tomorrow (red and blue) they will have their quiz then.

Today in math we did something SO FUN and SO GREAT that all kids were so amped for! WE TOOK AN ASSESSMENT! If your student hasn't taken it yet, please have them complete all Practice Problems in Unit 2, and review the Lesson Summaries.
