Today we had regular rotations but by-golly, it sure was fun. "Who is Golly? And why is she always leaving?" -Mr. More
Humanities: students learned about how important vocabulary is! They're preparing to read a story and learn about figurative language and theme tomorrow.
HOMEWORK: vocabulary sheet due TOMORROW IN CLASS! It's a physical copy!
Looking ahead: FINAL DRAFT of narrative DUE MONDAY!
Math: we completed Lesson 3 today! We decomposed shapes and rearranged them into shapes to help us find the area of each one!
HOMEWORK: Lesson 3 in workbook or click here. Answers can be found on Google Classroom! Or I guess you could click here for the solutions. :)
Science: today we watched a video about how our eyes perceive color and started reading an article about recent studies on how the brain works. They've been really engaged in all this brain stuff...probably because their brains are working as we do it! Like your brain is working now! NOW, TOO! AND NOW! It's still happening!
HOMEWORK: Look at 5 pictures about memory and write 5 notes about the photos--like something interesting! :)
