Happy Wednesday

Humanities: Today we talked about identifying the theme in a story. I gave them a tried and true method for figuring it out (kids often confuse topic with theme). Pixar movies provided some great material for us today in our lively discussion. They understood it! It was very exciting.

Science: The big inquiry question introduced was: How do humans impact earth's resources? We're going to be investigating the resources that we use, where they come from and where they go to become waste.

Math: Two assessments are happening tomorrow on rational numbers and multiplying fractions. Check your students' planner to see what's happening in your child's specific class.

**Our project time is a busy bee hive! So much creativity bouncing between our walls. Thank you so much, volunteers, for your tireless help. We appreciate it so much. Also, thank you for all the wonderful materials flowing in. They are ALL being used**
