Happy Sunny Tuesday!

Science: Today our students went over the plan for their science project and crafted their hypotheses. This project will be a deliberate journey through the scientific method and will also culminate in the use of a trifold (of course!). Just a heads up on that.

Math: Each class is doing something a little different, so please check in with your child to see if there's homework. The maps were due last week and there are still a few that have not been turned in.

Humanities: We are continuing our voyage into figurative language. This is a review for most of our kiddos, but I believe this time around they are understanding how it can help to improve our writing. Similes, metaphors, and personification (oh, my!) were covered and tomorrow we branch off into my favorite: idioms. You have very creative children who like to come up with some imaginative figures of speech. I'm looking forward to the poetry unit that comes after this week.

**This last stretch of school is an important one for prepping our Gryphons for next year. We are really focusing on turning things in ON TIME, being ON TIME, and being good collaborative group members. Charging Chromebooks is also way up there on the non-negotiable list.
