Maybe add a pickle to your meal this evening, or play Pickle Ball!

HUMANITIES: Students are transitioning to the history and accomplishments of their ancient civilizations. They were introduced to an assignment to create a Top 10 List of the greatest accomplishments of their civilization. HOMEWORK Geography CER is due tomorrow.

MATH: In two rotations we continued learning about perfect squares and cubes. Remember a perfect square can make a perfect square and a perfect cube can make a perfect cube. HOMEWORK Rotations 1 & 3 have lesson 17 practice problems. Rotation 2 has 17.3. None for rotation 3.

SCIENCE: New topic! We transitioned into Earth Science today. Our new big question is WHY ARE RESOURCES WHERE THEY ARE ON EARTH? Today we made rudimentary models of the layers of earth before taking notes in our journals about the specifics of each layer, including the lithosphere, hydrosphere and atmosphere. HOMEWORK nothing new (There are a few kiddos who requested extensions on the brochure that are coming due tomorrow!)
