A few notes of the day and an important message at the bottom (which should be in your email by now):
In ELA students participated in a socratic seminar covering some of the key themes in A Wrinkle in Time. p.s. It's Oprah's birthday today--she plays Mrs. Which in the movie adaptation of A Wrinkle in Time.
There are photos on Facebook and Instagram of our Red and Green groups on the field trip! Special shoutout to the parents who were able to chaperone: Mr. Weeks, Mrs. Fischbach, Mrs. Connell, Mrs. Chalfant, Mr. Spencer, Mrs. Le, and Mrs. Clark. Thank you thank you thank you for giving up your time to help us in this "beautiful" weather. :) The kids had a blast and we are so thankful!

The following was emailed to you via Skyward! It's about our 5th grade presentations tomorrow and Friday.
Hello families!
Tomorrow is our annual 5th grade visit! We are asking the kids to pick one of three presentations to show off to our potential new 6th graders.
EXPECTATIONS for the presentations are in these slides: https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1a9qIRsuYyPQyD8JXCIiUC5tTulRW3CUPMlGrvCHHyAs/edit?usp=sharing
Please remind your kiddo to dress for success and PRACTICE their presentation tonight. Of course they can go above and beyond what is expected but this is not a presentation we want them to be unprepared for. We want those 5th graders to know just how much work goes on here at Odyssey! :)
Thank you so much for your support!! Please let us know if you have any clarifying questions.
Team 6
