Happy Monday

Where did our sunshine go? Oh, well, the cooler weather is a welcome relief in a building that is still struggling with AC from time to time.

The morning only held a few glitches before we were all up and running with some iReady testing. This is diagnostic testing for students and teachers to understand where everyone is starting the year. This testing is never used as a grade. After lunch we continued working with our silhouettes, with a deadline of Wednesday fast approaching! We spent a lot of time revisiting the expectations of what it looks like, sounds like and feels like during family meeting, the time after lunch when we are ALL together to receive information. We are also transitioning to students leading these meetings!

Please remember that headphones and fully charged Chromebooks are needed tomorrow for the second round of iReady testing.

Special shout out to our organization crew. We emptied out a catch all room and began organizing all our materials. We even moved a few heavy pieces of furniture out. It's going to be fabulous once completed!
