What a nice sunny day! We had great fun in our rotations with your kids!

Science: there were some GREAT 8th grade mentors today to help refine our written procedures to get ready for each pairing's data test! Look for an invite for next Friday for our SCIENCE FAIR!

Humanities: we had a great time talking about idioms and more figurative language. It was interesting to talk about idioms in different countries and their meanings, and what's even the point of using idioms?! Strike up a conversation with your kiddo--you might be surprised at their knowledge of idioms!

Math: Compact 7/8 has two homework lessons (5-1 and 5-2); Compact 6/7 did a great job working through a math puzzle today and learned some convention within Algebra; Math 6 did a GREAT job preparing themselves for data collection and graphing for their science procedures!
