Happy Holidays!

Even though there was lots of excitement, we were still able to accomplish quite a bit! We started the day with a Fun Friday with the 7th and 8th graders. Mr. Smith taught us about Human Shuffleboard. The 6th grade team did pretty well considering it was our first experience with it. Our representative students managed to beat 7th grade in the first round but fell to the 8th graders by one point. Happily enough the teachers were able to pull out a win over the 8th graders. It was super fun.
Then we used our time to wrap up things for our civilization projects, any missing work, and cleaning some of the spaces that were sorely needing it.
After lunch, students with complete movie tickets enjoyed the movie Smallfoot on the big screen in the upstairs assembly room, leaving a nice quite work space for those who sill had a few more items to check off their lists.
We celebrated the two late December birthdays and the cheered for Physis, who won the house points for the second month in a row!
Thank you to all the families who celebrated us with gifts this season. We may have a few extra pounds to work off come January due to your spoiling of us. Please be safe over the holidays and know that we are looking forward to the break, but also to see those little cherubs of yours again soon!
