Happy Halloween

It was great to see all the fun costumes today! Tomorrow's spirit day is House Color War. Anemos: Purple, Helios: Green, Physis: Gold, and Tethys: Blue.

Math: We learned about polygons and how they are enclosed figures with only straight lines, no curved lines and no intersecting lines. HOMEWORK Lesson 11 practice problems. Test tomorrow on lessons 1 - 11.

Science: Students started planning their Brain Brochures. These finished products are due Wednesday, November 13. We will have some time to work on these next week during class. Peer review will happen on November 8th. HOMEWORK: finish blueprint plan AND self assigned work. This means students should do something that moves the towards their deadlines, like researching for 10 minutes, writing a portion of the brochure, collecting images, etc.

Humanities: We finished our civilization posters and did a gallery walk with a thinking routine. We also got to go upstairs and hear some frightening fiction written and read by the 7th and 8th graders today. HOMEWORK none
