We were busy today. In Science we transplanted any successful plants to the raised beds in the outdoor learning space with help of some fantastic 7th graders. We will need to water them pretty regularly this week with the expected highs! But with any luck, we'll have some food by the end of the school year. Mission Grow was due today at 2:00. Please double check with your kiddos about any missing work they may still need to turn in. Late is better than never!
In Math students used the Mac and Cheese box problem to learn about surface area and volume. This is something else that was due today. Students can also double check for late assignments here, too.
ELA - we did not read today, but did spend some time working on ch. 21 - 25 questions which are due Thursday. Also, VOCABULARY words are due tomorrow! The test is next Tuesday.
The bulk of our time was working on our final checklists for the colony model presentation. Groups were given the specifics and then assigned responsibilities. Good progress was made, but there is still lots to do. If you have large pieces of cardboard, we'd love to have them!
Also, tomorrow is Mrs. Dixon's official last day. Some of your kids have volunteered to bring in treats or decorations. Thank you for your help with this!
