Our Design Thinking project is chugging right along. Today students learned about giving and using feedback to improve ideas. Being specific about ways to improve will allow a person demonstrate growth and show their ideas more clearly. Another phrase we use is "Hard on the content, soft on the person." This helps our students understand THEY are not being attacked, simply their idea is being given some suggestions.

During ELA, we learned about using dialogue for our characters and then added that feature into our narrative stories. 100 more words of our photo stories are due tomorrow.

Science time was used for groups to work on their piece of the brain puzzle. Images and phrases are being added to the different lobes and will be used to teach peers about their part of learning on Wednesday.
