Today was another great day with your kids! We switched things up and had project time in the morning while Mrs. Blair took some kids for Humanities and Mrs. Stalheim took some kids for a math assessment.
CONTINUOUS AND MANY THANKS TO PARENTS WHO ARE HELPING US AND VOLUNTEERING! We had volunteers with record numbers today. We are so thankful!
Science: today was Trash Audit day! The kids collected trash from Odyssey's lunch and sorted through it. After sorting the material (plastic, paper, styrofoam, food, etc), we weighed it and recorded our findings. Some more trash audit findings to come next week!
homework: complete the Trash Audit packet using the resources found in Science Classroom. DUE TUESDAY!
Humanities: we continued reading The Lemming Condition today (chapter 2) and had great discussions with your kids about social justices. What a thoughtful and socially aware and diverse and amazing group of kids we have this year! Our discussion was rich with cultural perspective and historical perspective from each kid.
homework: complete the questions posted in Humanities Google Classroom! DUE TUESDAY!
Math: Just an assessment day! :) Most are completed but we will continue on Tuesday for those who weren't ready for assessment today. Your student can spend the weekend studying operations with rational numbers! :)
no homework unless students haven't completed yesterday's homework OR study with operations and rational numbers.
