Fri-yaaaaaay!

Humanities: REVISED DRAFT DUE TODAY. We anchored with the narrative again and your kids did great job of diving deeper into peer editing. Each student was engaged in making edits for their classmates and doing their best to help each other improve. FINAL DRAFTS are DUE TUESDAY. Students will be working on their last few edits next week before our break.

Math: You might see some changes in Skyward! Many students are still missing some assignments. If your student is working in Topic 5, their homework is in their workbook now. Answer keys are posted in Google Classroom; students are expected to complete homework each night it's given and correct it with the answer keys that night or the next day. Then post scores in a private comment. NO STUDENTS SHOULD BE WORKING ONLINE except if your student is working on Topic 1 (those who are in Compact 7/8).

Science: Mrs. Dixon sent home a green paper about her need to video some lessons during the year. You only need to return this form if you DO NOT want your child recorded during these sessions. A copy of this letter is being sent home via Skyward.

Curiosity Cruising: Still plugging away at presentations! If your student has not presented yet, please help them practice so they can be prepared next week! The kids did a great job with their presentations and we are so proud and looking forward to our final few cruises.
