February 7th

Science: Today was an introduction to energy forms and types. This is the precursor to our solar power adventure.

Humanities: We went over what a persuasive essay includes. We brainstormed a lot of interesting topics that could be written about. Your kiddos were very insightful (especially about the screen time issue). Tomorrow we will begin our renewable energy opinion piece, piggybacking on science.

Math: Some kiddos finished iReady and some worked on a new online practice site called Freckle.

Curiosity Cruisin' discussions rounded out the day. Everyone needs to get the a-ok on their topic and plan. The key is to choose a project that can be done at school. ;)
