We introduced Curiosity Cruising to the kids today. We were very excited to brainstorm all the ideas of things that we could be interested in. The idea of Curiosity Cruising is to spend a short amount of time investigating something we haven't dedicated any time to in the past. We will be dedicating half an hour a day for students to direct their own learning. Tomorrow we will narrow our focus and make a plan for how to use our time at school and what our finished products will be.
Humanities: We walked through how to do MLA citations for note taking about the UN. These notes are due as they walk in the door tomorrow morning. They are digital and in the Google Classroom. Countries will be assigned tomorrow.
Math: There was a quiz today. There are still a few who are not finished with homework, so they haven't been able to take the quiz. Please have your student confirm their homework is completed through lesson 3.
Science: Cell research began today and will continue tomorrow during class times. Paper copies of the notes are due Monday. Digital copies are in Google Classroom.
