Today was a busy last day of colony work time. Groups made the most of their last 80 minutes to finish up their models, geological features, floor plans and presentations. Many groups were able to practice a few times, too. Tomorrow will see us spending our afternoon time to peer review our presentations to be ready for the real thing on Thursday. We hope that you will be able to join us, either for your student's official presentations (15 minutes sometime between 9:30 and 11:00, see the email sent last week) or the informal showcase from 12:30 to 1:15.
Core Rotations saw the following work completed and assigned:
HUMANITIES: Students worked on the counter argument and conclusion for the persuasive essay regarding whether or not the expense used to rescue Mark was worth it. Also, the vocabulary test was today. HW: complete any unfinished body paragraphs and conclusion.
MATH: Order of Operations and the percentages of numbers were the topics today. HW: Some students have work book pages, others have a white worksheet.
SCIENCE: Personal interest research was due today. Check Google Classroom to see if it still needs to be turned in.
