Humanities: Onomatopoeia ruled the day and we had a blast. The comics they created were better than a campy episode of "Batman and Robin" from the 60's! Tomorrow we cover our last device, alliteration. We shall take these fabulous figurative language tools and start crafting some poetry.

Science: Data collection, data collection, data collection...so fun to watch our Gryphons get fired up about conducting meaningful experiments. They will analyze data tomorrow. Plan on coming in to see the fruits of their labor next Friday in the morning. Tri-folds will need to start coming in soon!

Math: Compact 7/8 worked on their own to finish up a few assignments. Compact 6/7 worked learning basics of algebra to help us move through our expressions and equations unit next week. Everyone else did a great job learning about graphing polygons on a coordinate plane.
